Gymnocalycium Friedrichii Grafted Moon Cactus Pink

This unique cactus plant comes in a 3.5" pot. You will receive a very similar plant to the one in the picture. It may or may not be blooming at the time of your purchase. The plant is shipped in its pot to prevent any damage to the roots.

Gymnocalycium Friedrichii is commonly known as ‘Grafted Moon Cactus Pink’. By lovingly nurturing and caring for this Globose shape plant, you may be able to get it to grow slightly larger, up to a height of 10-12 cm, but it will never grow into a full-sized cactus. It will always be referred to as a dwarf. It has its origin in South America and belongs to the Cactaceae family. Grafted Moon Cactus is winter-dormant.

Growth Rate

Gymnocalycium friedrichii is a slow succulent that takes many years to reach its full size.

Flowering

The Moon cactus flowers are small and come in a variety of colors. White, yellow, green, and pink are the most common colors. This plant blooms from mid-spring to early summer season.

Watering and Feeding

Gymnocalycium friedrichii plants do not require a lot of water. The method of deep soaking followed by complete drying out is the best watering schedule to follow when watering them.

Soil

There are no specific soil requirements for this plant in terms of pH level. The best way to ensure good drainage is to create a soil environment composed of cactus-potting soil and mineral grit.

Hardiness

Light
