It is a winter-dormant solitary barrel cactus with long spreading, having a Globular shape, and sometimes recurved spines. They have a rich brown color that contrasts nicely with the grey-green body. The Giant chin cactus has its origin in Argentina and belongs to the Cactaceae family.
