Originally from South America, Opuntia argentiniana is also known as Brasiliopuntia brasiliensis.It is a dwarf Opuntia with a small line- green “pads” (flattened joints) to 2.5” in width and tan spines to ¼” in length. Unusual yellow flowers to 1” in diameter that open flattened. Protect from frost. Provide filtered light. Hardy to 32F; to 10” tall. Water thoroughly when soil is dry.
