Origin: northeast Africa
Description: Also known as Euphorbia Abyssinia or with its common name Candelabra spurge and Desert Candle. Euphorbia abyssinica is a highly variable species with several forms and making precise descriptions may be difficult.
Sun Exposure: Partial shade to full sun. If it has been growing in shade it shouldbe slowly hardened off before placing in full and a plant that has been growing in shade should be slowly hardened off before placing it in full sun as the plant will be severely scorched if moved too suddenly from shade into sun.
Waterings: Regular watering needs from March to September, in its active growing season. Should be kept almost completely dry in winter.
Blooming habits: Yellow
Hardiness: USDA Zones 9b(25 °F) to 11b(50 °F). Frost tender, frost free zones only.
