This is a multi-cluster of the Golden Barrel Cactus. Looking for a stunning addition to your garden that's both low maintenance and visually striking? Look no further than the Golden Barrel Tri-Cluster  Echinocactus grusonii.

This is nice cluster of golden barrel cacti, each covered with sharp golden spikes that catch the light in a most beautiful way. And get this, it has up to 35 ribs when it reaches maturity - each rib covered in long yellow or white spines. 

Each of these clusters can actually live for up to 100 years.  When full grown, it can reach up to 3 feet in diameter and boasts deep ribs that add character and interest to its already stunning appearance.

After around 20 years of growth (yes, patience is key here), small yellow blooms may appear around its crown-like tiny sunflowers reaching for the sky. So if you're lucky enough to have a mature specimen of Golden Barrel Cactus - Echinocactus grusonii in your garden then keep an eye out for those gorgeous yellow flowers come summertime!
