Aloe Krapohliana also goes by the name Karoo Aloe. This succulent belongs to the Xanthorrhoeaceae family and is native to South Africa and Namibia. Offering a dormancy of summers, the plant can grow about 20 to 25 centimetres in height. It is a dwarf aloe and is circular shaped.

Growth Rate

Aloe Krapohliana is both slow and slow growing. If grown indoors, it might take 3-4 years to fully grow but growth is much faster if grown outdoors.

Flowering

The flowers are tubular in shape and orange-red in color. The tips are tinged with a greenish-yellow color. You will see them blooming in the winter season.

Watering and Feeding

Aloe Krapohliana needs a consistent but occasional watering routine during winter. No watering is required in summer. To boost growth, feed the plant with a fertilizer that is high in potassium but has a low level of diluted nitrogen.
