I ordered these to give as party favors at a babyshower. When they arrived, they were packaged individualy wrapped in paper and were packed in a box laying on their side, which did create a snug and secure fit for transport. I unpacked and found that the majority had dumped out in their paper wrap and some were so balled up in the dump mess of the soil i had to gently shake and manually pick the packed dirt off the plant, as much as i could. There were a few that were so pitiful they looked like dried shriveled greenbeans or other old veggies. Some others looked like an old shriveled piece of lettuce left overnight on a dinner plate. I attempted to put them back in their containers and fill around with all the soil that fell out. And then set them in a room that gets filtered light. Some barely even had roots. They literally looked like someone jist pulled off a leaf and stuck it in the soil. I gave them some water to hopefully revive their dead colors to life, but even 3 days later they havent perked up. Needless to say, there were no party favors at the shower , and all my effort was for waste. I am soo sad because i was sooo excited. I dont know what went wrong from the nursery to my home, but one thing I do know, the pictures on the website are HIGHLY misleading. I give it a "1" ONLY for the VERY FEW ones that looked partly decent...not party favor decent, but decent. I will attempt to repot these and hopefully have myself a fairly large succulent garden. We'll see. I would not suggest these to anyone for a special occassion gift, just because they looked soooooo traumatized.. I am hopeful they will grow into their gorgeous and unique beauty.
