Austrocephalocereus estevesii, native to Brazil, forms blue-green stems with many ribs. Stems are densely spined with golden or reddish-gold spines arising from cream-colored areoles. A very beautiful collector's item. Flowers in the summer. Protect from frost. Provide bright light/sun. hardy to 40F. Grows to 6' tall. Water thoroughly when soil is dry.
