Cussonia spicata is a highly unusual evergreen tree from the Araliaceae family. With its origin in South Africa, this fast-growing plant grows from 25 to 40 feet in height. The winter-dormant tree is known by its common name, “Common cabbage tree”. Having sturdy gray trunks and lush roots, the cabbage tree has an appealing appearance and features brilliant green leaves with multiple lobes.
