Succulent Dudleya gnoma 'White Sprite' is endemic to Santa Rose Island and belongs to the Crassulaceae family. The other common names of the plant are Munchkin liveforever, Munchkin dudleya, and White Sprite. This is a rare compact species containing clumps of rosettes. The rosettes grow between 10 and 36 mm. Each rosette contains about 20 leaves growing on a caudex. In late spring, tall inflorescences arise from the rosettes bearing about 10 flowers, colors ranging from pale to bright yellow. It is a slow-growing plant that is slightly frost-hardy. The summer dormant plant requires full sun for good growth.
