Common and relatively easy to grow plant for pot culture. Branches bluish-grey or copper-green often spirally twisted. Flowers (cyathia): Small bright yellow c. 3 mm in diameter; nectar-glands oblong, just touching. They are dormant in the winter. Warning: As with all other Euphorbias, when a plant get damaged it exudes a thick white milky sap known as latex. This latex is poisonous and may irritate skin.
