Maihuenia poeppigii is a succulent plant that is commonly known as ‘Maihuenia philippii’. A native of Southern chile, this variety belongs to the Cactaceae family and grows up to 6 in. (15 Cm) in height.

Growth Rate

This plant grows slowly.

Flowering

The flowers bloom in Mid-summer with beautiful bright yellow shades. The blooms do not have any distinct fragrance.

Water and Feeding/Fertilizer

These cacti are drought-tolerant. It is good to water them during the spring and summer seasons. However, it is suggested not to keep them too dry or too wet.

Maihuenia poeppigii needs quick-draining soil.
