Mammillaeria Spinossisima Cristata

(This plant comes in a 3.5 inch pot. You will receive a very similar plant to the one in the picture. It may or may not be blooming at the time of your purchase. The plant is shipped in its pot to prevent any damage to the roots).

This is a cristata form form of the Mammillareia Spinossisima plant also known as red-headed Irishman. It has a really soft curious looking reddish spines that can resemble a red headed man.

Frost tolerance: keep above 26°F (-3°C)
Sun exposure: Light shade
Origin: Morelos and Guerrero states, Mexico
Growth habits: Columnar, clumping, up to 12" tall (30 cm), 4" in diameter (10 cm)

Beautiful plant

Really to large for container.trying to figure out how to repot with all the spines
