It is found in Kenya. It prefers a well-drained soil, plenty of water in growth and some sun. The caudex will grow to 30 centimeters in diameter. The vines can reach seven meters. The flowers are yellow, and it can only be reproduced from seeds.

Cultivation and propagation: Momordica rostrata grow through the summer and die back in the fall.
