Pelargonium carnosum is also known as Otidia carnosa and is endemic to South Africa (Northern and Western). It is a deciduous, fleshy-stalked, shrubby plant that can grow to be about 60 cm tall, with a swollen tuber-like rootstock. The stem is a grey-green short and erect form, and it produces tiny flowers of creamy pink or pink crimson with markings. This is a tricky plant that is particular about its growing conditions and require the right maintenance to stay happy.
