Sulcorebutia Rauschii is commonly known as ‘Rauschi’. Noted for Herringbone shape, this summer-dormant plant is made up of stems covered in flat tubercles and grows up to the height of 4 cm. Tubercles are violet in color and form spiral rows that connect at the apex. Rauschi has its origin in Bolivia and belongs to the Cactaceae family.

Growth Rate

Sulcorebutia rauschii has a slow growth rate.

Flowering

This cactus blooms in late spring and produces Yellow-green flowers.

Watering and Feeding

Watering must be discontinued during the dormant period. During the spring and summer, water every 15 days. Fertilize Rauschii twice a year with mineral or organic fertilizer for proper growth.

Soil

As the roots of these cacti are soft, the soil should be well-drained and loam.

Hardiness
