Ficus brandegeei, known by its common name “Desert Fig”, is a compact plant from the Moraceae family. It features gorgeous heart-shaped green leaves and light bark. Growing from 4 to 12 inches in height, this interesting tree type originates from Mexico. Desert figs closely relate to Ficus Palmeri and are perfect for indoor settings!

Noted for heart-shaped leaves, the Desert fig tree needs frequent watering. Misting twice to thrice a week also works well. Ensure not to overwater your plant.

Well-drained soil is ideal for desert figs. Arid or moist, mucky soils should be avoided.
