This succulent is a species of plant native to southern Africa. It is a soft-stemmed creeper with succulent, yellowish-green leaves. It bears yellow flowers and red, oval-shaped fruit. caudex-forming, deciduous, herbaceous tendril up to 5 m with fleshy branches and slightly succulent leaves, composed of 3 to 5 arranged, deep green leaflets with corrugated leaf margins. From the greenish-yellow flowers develop small, ripe red fruits
