The Aloe is a very strong plant and only requires a place with sufficient light and some water (not too much) every now and then. Therefore, you must place this easy plant in a light location. However, in the springtime, it had better not be placed under a full sun, as Aloes may be burnt, just like us after the winter. Furthermore, they can withstand the cold and are hardly susceptible to pests or diseases. You may also use the plants outdoors when it is over 5°C (in a pot or in full soil that is well-drained.)

Our Aloes store water in their leaves for later use. Therefore, you must only water the plant once the soil has dried out. A good way to water the plant is by watering the cultivation pot above the kitchen sink so that excess water will immediately pour away. As soon as the pot feels heavier, it may be replaced in the ornamental pot. In winter, the plant requires only very little water every now and then (for example once a month).

Gasteraloe Tiki Zilla does not require any extra nutrition in the first few months, provided that it has plenty of sunlight and water. If you do want to stimulate growth, then you may give about 20% of the recommended quantity indicated on the plant nutrition bottle. During the winter months, extra nutrition is certainly not required.
