Agave Pablocarrilloi goes by the common name “Colima Stone Agave” or “Carillo Agave”. This succulent is sword-shaped. The plant has its origin in Mexico and belongs to the family of Asparagaceae. Carillo Agave faces dormancy in winter and it can grow up to a height of 2-3 feet.

Even though Colima Stone Agave is one of the rare plants in the family that perfectly thrives in a container, it is extremely slow-growing too.

Flowering

You will witness the growth of large, stiff, and yellow-colored flowers. Colima Stone Agave will bloom during summer, right before monsoon approaches.

Watering and Feeding

Colima Stone Agave has moderate water requirements. It can survive with minimal watering but can rot if overwatered. Fertilize the plant with an all-purpose liquid fertilizer once a month.

Soil

Ensure that the soil is free-draining and fertile. Since the succulent does best in desert climates, prepare a sandy soil mix.
