is a large, single-stemmed aloe of rocky places and open flat country that often grows to 10 feet tall with persistent old leaves making a skirt around the trunk. The leaves of the Mountain Aloe are large, of a gray-green color, with reddish-brown spines along the margins and randomly on other parts of the leaf.
