Echeveria agavoides lipstick

Echeveria agavoides goes by the common name “Lipstick Echeveria”. It is a diverse and exotic plant highly valued for its thick triangular leaves. This plant has its origin in Mexico and belongs to the family Crassulaceae. Echeveria agavoides requires an equable climate consisting of sun & shade and grows up to 15 cm in height. Offering a winter-dormant variety of Echeveria suitable for areas with low humidity.

Growth Rate

Echeveria agavoides plants are slow-growing and are easy to care for.

Flowering

This plant is noted for its red and orange scented flowers that blossom in the spring. The tips turn red when exposed to intense sunlight.

Watering and Feeding

Echeverias come with a short watering need. They require occasional watering to survive. So, watch out for giving them more hydration than what they need.

Soil

Echeveria agavoides plants prefer well-draining soil. The right soil blend is very important for them to get good drainage.

Hardiness

Lipstick Echeveria is not very frost tolerant. It is better to plant this variety indoors if you live in areas that get colder than 25 to 50° F (-3.9 to 10° C). This succulent belongs to the hardiness zone of 9a to 11.

Light

Echeveria agavoides plant requires full sun to partial shade to be in plump shape. Lack of sunlight can make the plant stretched.

Plants that are in 3.5" pots and smaller will be shipped in its pot to prevent any damage to the roots. Any plant that is 6" and larger WILL NOT come with a pot as it will be shipped bare root.
