(This plant comes in a 3.5 inch pot. You will receive a very similar plant to the one in the picture. It may or may not be blooming at the time of your purchase. The plant is shipped in its pot to prevent any damage to the roots).

Gymnocalycium mihanovichii hibotan Pink goes by the common name ‘Flapjacks.’ The plant originates from Africa and is a member of the Cactaceae family. The characteristic aspect of Flapjacks is its red-colored body that is mainly due to lack of chlorophyll. It is also the reason why Gymnocalycium mihanovichii grafting is necessary, else the plant can die. The summer-dormant plant requires partial shade rather than full sun exposure for good growth. The funnel/bell-shaped cacti grow to a height of 1 foot with a fast growth rate.

So cute!

I was worried about how this cactus would ship and whether the top would break off, but it was delivered in perfect condition! There’s a bright pink top and it looks exactly like the picture. Will definitely be buying more soon.
