Opuntia rufida minima monstrose
Native to the region of Texas, this is a miniature prickly pear version also known as Cinnamon cactus. it only grows to approximately 10" in height, the pads are covered with minute cinnamon-colored spines. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Water regularly during the warm months and very light water during winter, as the plant can lose its roots if the soil stays cold and wet for extended periods. Protect from frost.
