A native of South Africa occupying the Eastern Cape province, Pelargonium reniforme is also known as Kidney Leaved, Ikubalo, Umsongelo, and Iyeza Lesikhali. The evergreen plant mainly grows as a ground cover with its characteristic, kidney-shaped grey-green leaves. It grows as a soft mount up to a height of 40 to 60 cm. Capable of existing in hot, dry conditions, the plant requires full sun mostly; at times, a bit of shade. The flowering season starts from spring and continues until autumn when the plant breaks out into pretty pink to magenta flowers. This fast-growing plant belongs to the Geraniaceae Family.
