Mimbulus mimbletonia?

In the Harry Potter books Mimbulus mimbletonia is Neville Longbottom's cactus “A small grey cactus in a pot, except that it was covered with what looked like boils rather than spines.” Tephrocactus molinensis fits that description, with variations of color from gray green to brown when exposed to strong sunlight. And since it's a muggle version it won't emit stink sap. Mine arrived with two segments and is growing a third from the base segment. Very happy with it, one of my favorite cacti.

Planet Desert Tephrocactus molinensis Review

This is the 2nd time I ordered from Planet Desert. The first order was perfect. I was very impressed with the large healthy plants and the shipping. This time not so much. The Euphorbua hamata arrived with the tip broken off. The leaves of the Adenium were crushed and the pot of the Tephrocactus was damaged.
