OPUNTIA MICRODASYS MONSTROSE

Opuntia microdasys monstrose is an undulated form of Opuntia microdasys ("Bunny Ears"), covered with minute golden spines known as glochids (can cause irritation to the skin and eyes) Protect from frost. Provide bright light/sun; hardy to 32F; to 3'+ tall.

This cactus is native to northern Mexico as well as desert region’s that stretch into Arizona. This plant looks like a shrub, and its spines come off very easily. They flowers that it produces are creamy yellow, and fade into peach.
